On-Line Giving Events Fund Raisers

Dear Friend:

Welcome to Saint Vincent de Paul Church, an integral part of the East Haven community since 1914.

These are exciting times for us! Our parish is a vibrant and unique blend of more than 6,500 people from 2,000 families of all ages, walks of life and socioeconomic status. While Italian-Americans form the largest percentage of our parishioners, we also serve a broad range of people from many cultures and ethnicities: Irish, Polish, Filipino and a growing population of Latinos, including many Ecuadorian families in our community. This rich and varied population shares three very basic traits, however: a profound devotion to their Roman Catholic faith, a strong commitment to their heritage, and a deep sense of family.

To serve this varied flock, the Parish offers a myriad of services, including a robust daily and weekend Mass schedule; a school with an early childhood to eighth grade curriculum; a strong religious education program designed to help youngsters and adults grow in their faith; a variety of outreach services; and many ministries that truly provide something for everyone.

Following the lead of Pope Francis, we strive to be a church that has a heart for evangelizing ourselves, our community and our church. Please explore this website to learn more about our mission; what we offer for you and your family; and, perhaps, find a way to share your time, talent and treasure with others. I also invite you to read my blog Talk with Fr. Tom, where I share relevant news, answer questions and engage in an ongoing dialogue with our website visitors.

Again, welcome to our website, and to our parish!

Yours in Christ,

Rev. Thomas A. Sievel
